Our Team Dawn (RDH)Dawn was born in Illinois and moved to Glendale, Az with her family in 2011. Growing up, her family did not go to the dentist due to fear and anxiety, which affected them emotionally and physically. She remembered family members talking with their hands in front of their mouths, due to being self-conscious about their teeth. With these experiences, she knew at a young age that she wanted to pursue a career as a dental hygienist, to help patients gain the confidence to smile, feel good about themselves and be healthy. She was a dental assistant while in high school and graduated from Parkland College hygiene program in Champaign, Illinois in 1994. What is her goal?Dawn understands that most patients have dental fears and anxiety. She wants to know each patient individually to create the most comfortable atmosphere possible and have open communication between herself and her patients. She can quickly gain patients trust and calm their fears due to her years of experience, so appointments are less stressful. Her goal is to provide the highest quality of care and have patients return for regular visits to help maintain optimum dental health. What are her hobbies?Dawn has been married for 25 years and has a 21-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son. In her free time, Dawn and her family enjoys outdoor activities and spend most weekends on the family boat. She enjoys spending time with her pets, family and friends.
